In Poland, Stadler operates several specialized facilities focused on the production of both individual components and complete rail vehicles, as well as their maintenance and servicing.

Stadler has recently decided to expand its power converter factory. The facility will supply converters to Stadler's production sites worldwide, as well as to external customers.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Placing orders with suppliers for components and production‑related services.
  • Preparing and processing purchase orders and managing suppliers in the ERP system.
  • Maintaining regular communication with suppliers regarding delivery schedules, price negotiations, and commercial terms.
  • Preparing and issuing requests for quotations (RFQs).
  • Identifying and sourcing alternative suppliers and materials.
  • Managing and developing long‑term supplier relationships.
  • Coordinating communication with internal departments.
  • Performing data analysis and preparing reports.
  • Collaborating with internal departments (e.g. production, engineering) to identify material requirement.

OUR REQUIREMENTS

  • Several years of experience in a similar purchasing or procurement role.
  • Very good command of MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Very good command of English, enabling effective business communication.
  • Well‑developed negotiation skills.
  • Nice to have:
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Experience in working with electrical components
  • Strong technical and analytical problem‑solving skills.
