• Design of minor and major repairs to metallic airframe structures for specific customer aircraft and standard repairs for the aircraft repair manual
• Static and fatigue substantiation of minor/major repairs and modifications to metallic airframe structures using traditional and FE analysis methods, plus safe life and damage tolerant analysis
• Design and substantiation of minor repairs to non-primary structure composite parts
• Analysis of structural suitability of specific airframes for life extension
• Resolution of customer driven issues in the structural engineering domain

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or aeronautical engineering with focus on structural analysis
• At least 3 years of experience in airframe stress and FDT analysis in the field of customer engineering support
• Familiarity with NASTRAN, FEMAP or similar packages as well as FDT tools (e.g. AFGROW)
• Very good English language skills (C1); German knowledge would be an advantage
• Self-starter personality with the ability to work with minimum supervision in a dynamic and responsive environment
