Maintenance Shop Supervisor

Take-off with Pilatus! We are seeking a Maintenance Shop Supervisor to support maintenance operations in Chamblee, GA. Responsibility for oversight of daily aircraft maintenance activities across multiple teams, leadership of maintenance personnel, and coordination of operational priorities in a fast-paced service environment.

What you do
  • Oversight of daily aircraft maintenance operations including planning, scheduling, shop load management, and resource allocation
  • Leadership, mentoring, and support of Aircraft Maintenance Crew Chiefs and Technicians across multiple maintenance teams
  • Compliance with FAA regulations, Certified Repair Station requirements, and approved maintenance procedures
  • Review and approval of maintenance records, work orders, and operational documentation for accuracy and completeness
  • Monitoring of operational performance, maintenance quality, workflow efficiency, and corrective action initiatives
  • Coordination between technicians, leadership, and support teams to ensure alignment, issue resolution, and operational continuity
  • Support of workforce planning, training, employee development, and performance management activities
  • Support of maintenance operations during Crew Chief or AOG staffing gaps, including hands-on maintenance activities as required
  • Oversight of tools, equipment, facilities, and workplace safety standards
  • Identification and implementation of process improvements to support operational efficiency and maintenance performance
What you bring
  • High school diploma or GED required; FAA Airframe and Powerplant certificate required; Inspection Authorization strongly preferred
  • Ideal candidate has minimum 8 years of aircraft maintenance experience, including 2 years in a lead or supervisory role; military aircraft maintenance experience accepted
  • Strong knowledge of FAA regulations, aircraft maintenance practices, and aircraft systems including airframes, engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems
  • Proficiency with technical manuals, maintenance documentation, specialized test equipment, and Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced operational environment
  • High attention to detail, commitment to safety and quality, and ability to support multiple operational priorities and staffing needs as required

  • The salary is $100,000 - $123,000 per year depending on experience. Pay rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
